Copyright refers to the legal rights associated with the creation, publication, and distribution of original works. From a publisher’s perspective, it dictates how authors, publishers, and the public can use, publish, and distribute the works in question.
MediHealth Academy Publishing only publishes books and chapters for which it holds the necessary publishing rights. These rights are outlined in a publication agreement between the author and MediHealth Academy Publishing. This agreement, which the author accepts upon submitting the book, governs both the publisher’s and author’s rights and obligations related to the specific book. However, authors retain significant rights over the use and dissemination of their publications even after accepting this agreement.
Authors maintain the copyright for all books or chapters published by MediHealth Academy Publishing under a Creative Commons license.
The information and data contained in the books we publish represent the opinions and interpretations of the author(s) alone. These views do not necessarily reflect the official position of the publisher or its affiliates, and the publisher assumes no responsibility for them.
Authors agree to the following terms under the CC BY-NC license:
1. The copyright for the published book remains with the author.
2. The authors grant MediHealth Academy Publishing the right to publish the book or portions of it and to identify itself as the original publisher.
3. The authors authorize third parties to freely use the article, provided the original authors and citation details are properly acknowledged.
4. This license does not limit or restrict an author’s right to protect the integrity and ownership of their work.
5. All commercial rights related to the book or its parts are retained by the authors.
